STEM Bubbles in Roanoke
On this field trip, Mrs. Gerrol gathered students from her class to go down to the Market Building in Roanoke, VA. The experience was to teach school students about charts and how to read them. The object of the day was to allow students to blow bubbles, record the data for three sets, and place the data on the graph. The data was represented by different colored pieces of pool noodles and polls labeled with numbers. The noodles were for what grade the students were in and the polls were for how many bubbles were blown. That day I learned how to help and be involved with kids in a great way. I will defiantly dot his again!

Virginia Western Community College Fab Lab - Opening Day
The Fab Lab is a place at Virginia Western Community College that allows people/students to make projects using their equipment. The room was filled with many useful tools that could help to make anything! We also saw a prototype of an assembly line and learned how it worked. I will defiantly be going back with my dad to complete projects on our own!

Biltmore
Biltmore is located in Asheville, NC. It is a beautiful Chateauesque styled mansion. It was built by George Washington Vanderbilt ll. I took 6 years to build. I would like to go back again and spend more time to look at the different types of French architecture.
